Despite permission from the city to do a demolition, it was dictated that this home’s facade had to still possess a 1960s bungalow look which blended with rest of the neighborhood. The imaginative and determined work of style firm <strong>Gestion René Desjardins</strong>  in Montreal, Canada, transformed this 1-story residence to 3 levels (which from the street seem as one) of spacious, elegant contemporary design.</p><br/><img alt="screen shot at Iron Lace Mansion By Gestion René Desjardins – Montreal, Canada dream home building " height="594" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/screen-shot-at________________________________________.png" title="Iron Lace Mansion by Gestion René Desjardins - Montreal, Canada" width="393" /><br/><p>Beginning with raising the slope of the back roof to create space, and resulting in an excavated basement to add considerable height to the ceiling level, the 3-story Iron Lace Mansion was constructed. Perhaps one particular of the most dramatic design and style components of this modern interior is the anthracite iron staircase depicting a “lace” pattern of whimsical, interconnected bubbles.</p><br/><img alt="screen shot at Iron Lace Mansion By Gestion René Desjardins – Montreal, Canada dream home building " height="335" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/screen-shot-at_________________________________________.png" title="Iron Lace Mansion by Gestion René Desjardins - Montreal, Canada" width="500" /><br/><p>The living space, dining room, kitchen, wine cellar and patio with dining terrace all exist on the entry level of the residence. Soaring white walls and ceilings in this space portray the feel of an airy loft space, while the graphic accents add boundaries and interest to the inteior design and style. The nicely-designed basement is accessed by an industrial steel and glass staircase.</p><br/><img alt="screen shot at Iron Lace Mansion By Gestion René Desjardins – Montreal, Canada dream home building " height="335" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/04/screen-shot-at__________________________________________.png" title="Iron Lace Mansion by Gestion René Desjardins - Montreal, Canada" width="500" /><br/><p>Wealthy walnut flooring covers the entire residence, whilst in the living space, a colourful accent rug of interwoven blocks pops against tonal grey furnishings, like seating and tables with shiny metal-legs.
