This innovative, stand-alone dwelling sits on the exact same property as the major residence (a former warehouse on an industrial lot) situated just south of the downtown region.</p><br/><img alt="screen shot at Small Spaces: Container Residence By Poteet Architects dream home building " height="333" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/screen-shot-at_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________.png" title="Container House by Poteet Architects" width="500" /><br/><p>Featured in its original blue hue, the temperature-controlled container measures 8 x 40 feet and due to the resourceful work of a welder, plentiful natural light pours in the windowed-walls on two of the 4 sides of this elongated cube. This garnering of warm sunlight is equally offset by a rooftop-garden. The greenery receives irrigation from an installed greywater tank pumped from the shower and sink to cool the house, although the raised, steel-frame of this structure permits for air-flow. In addition to this keen style, spray foam insulation additional assists in harnessing maximal power efficiency no matter the season.</p><br/><img alt="screen shot at Small Spaces: Container Residence By Poteet Architects dream home building " height="333" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/screen-shot-at__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________.png" title="Container House by Poteet Architects" width="500" /><br/><p>The <em>modern interior</em> boasts <em>minimalist design and style</em> which functions nicely in this little studio: bamboo ply boards transform into linear walls and flooring, although cheery hits of red and blue fill this mod living space. Neighborhood artists’ works improve the walls just above the multi-functional lounging sofa, although an oversized red “X” salvaged from an old Texaco station sign brings whimsy to the area. Straight by means of just beyond the wide bamboo-paneled basin sink, a private bathroom wrapped in deep-red painted metal sheeting characteristics an electric composting toilet and stall shower. Adjancent to the living quarters is a functional garden storage unit accessible from the outside.</p><br/><img alt="screen shot at Small Spaces: Container Residence By Poteet Architects dream home building " height="628" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/screen-shot-at___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________.png" title="Container House by Poteet Architects" width="417" /><br/><p>Just past the floor-to-ceiling glass sliders, an outside terrace made of recycled soda-bottle HVAC panels is a spot for dining and entertainment. White tub planters and bold red-orange chairs and a bench add zest to the all-natural greens of the surrounding <em>landscape design and style</em>. Beams jutting from the roof assistance a matching blue Polygal deck shade and feature special vapor lamps created with tractor plow blades at the ends. A distinctive overhang constructed of cantilevered planters displays an array of cacti.</p><br/><img alt="screen shot at Small Spaces: Container Residence By Poteet Architects dream home building " height="628" src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/screen-shot-at____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________.png" title="Container House by Poteet Architects" width="437" /><br/><p>This experimental path meshed with the implementation of industrial components, recycled finds and main pops of colour is a progressive approach to today’s modern day style of modest spaces.</p><br/><p>Extra projects from <strong>Poteet Architects here.</strong></p><br/><img alt="pixel Small Spaces: Container Residence By Poteet Architects dream home building " src="http://www.decoradvisor.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/pixel________________________________________________________________________________.png" title="Small Spaces: Container Residence By Poteet Architects dream home building " /><br/><p>
